Well I wanted to roast a chicken & was looking forward to having the carcass for making chicken stock.  But the butcher was all out of whole chickens today & no new deliveries until tomorrow when I won't be around to go there during their hours.  :(

So instead I bought some chicken breasts & remembered I still have a box of Stovetop Stuffing that I bought in the US last autumn, so I am going to craft some kind of baked casserole thingie using the chicken breasts, the stuffing & some veg. It ought to be good, right?  :D

Most definitely out to be good. Anything with Stove Top stuffing and chicken is a winner.

Hubs is having steak and kidney puddings and fish, and I will have fish and a baked potato. MIL bought us each a steak and kidney pudding and I don't like kidney.

Sorry you didn't get your chicken!

Very veggie chilli for us, hubby will add diced turkey breast to his.

Had a weird craving for chicken dippers for the past few days.  ??? So I picked some up from Iceland. ;D Had them with loads of different dips, and I made some really yummy veggie fried rice.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

We went to the Admiral Codlington in Chelsea to try their burger, was really good, very medium, and delicious, my favourite "thick" burger in London. Also had a salmon and jalapeno ceviche which was lush and boy had side of the most amazing mac & cheese.  ;D

Yes, it worked!  With carrots on the side.

Sorry you didn't get your chicken!

I thought maybe it was because I got there late, but the butcher said he'd been out of whole chickens all day.  Guess there must have been a Chicken Run at the weekend...  :D

You're letting the side down...  ;)

HB is out celebrating his pal's birthday, so I am staying in and gorging on Monte Cristo sandwiches!  :)

Roasted veggie lasagna with garlic and mushroom bread.

Of course, now I am thinking about Stove Top.  ;D Mom has already started a shopping list for when we get there in June, and Stove Top is on there.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

A Keralan style curry (coconut based but really hot) with cod loin (*snigger*) and some king prawns, and some simple stir fried veggies on the side :)

Last night was meat and potato pie. We had a big hunk of beef left over from our Sunday roast. Hubby doesn't like left overs and I always struggle to find a way to disguise the fact that he's eating them so I decided to try it in a pie. I wasn't sure how it would come out...but hubby was practically licking the plate clean!
Tonight is honey roast chicken, mashed potato, gravy, and steamed veg.
