Baked haddock in garlic butter with a crumb topping. :) Served it over steamed cabbage with a side of pasta in marinara sauce.

Hubby made the loveliest tea last night - butternut squash ravioli (all homemade, the pasta was handrolled, etc), purple sprouting broccoli, and garlic bread.

The only thing I could even remotely taste (because of having a bad cold) was the garlic bread.  But I do love garlic bread!  And he was wonderful to make all the rest even if I couldn't taste it.

Sounds delish! Your hubby is most impressive. Hope your cold departs soon.

We are headed to the Hampton Court Food Festival this afternoon so that will be our main meal. :)

Hubby, who would eat curry three meals a day, plus snacks, wanted to order curry. While I do love a good curry, I don't love it as frequently as we've been having it lately. I ordered a chicken strip meal and some hot wings, and it was all surprisingly decent for a curry house.

I made pork chops in the oven, rice pilaf, and steamed carrots and cabbage. :)

I don't even mind once a week, but I can only guess he is getting in as many as he can while we are still here, because we've been getting two a week, sometimes three in the past couple weeks, and there is always enough left for lunch.

When we were in Indiana, our closest one was a 45 minute drive away, but we'd make our own.

Yeah, we do 2-3x/month, probably, and sometimes make our own.

We all love curry here! When we were in NH we had a couple of ok places to get a curry, but they were really only OK. Best one we went to in the States was 2 hours from where we lived...lol. We typically just made it ourselves.

Tonight's tea is spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread with some salad.
