I defrosted beef mince, but I can't decide what to do with it. Nothing's sounding particularly appealing? I'll probably make spag bol or chili with it...

Yesterday, I made soy balsamic chicken in the slow cooker.  :o It surpassed expectations! It was absolutely wonderful. We ate the whole pot. :)

Last night we got pizza from a place DF insisted was JUST LIKE the pizza we had in Massachusetts. It was NOTHING like it and I was so very disappointed.

Tonight we're having wild mushroom tortelloni with some kind of sauce and possibly garlic bread.

Other than Pizza Hut and Dominos, I have yet to find a pizza here I like. I know Papa John's exists over here but haven't found one close enough to go to. They've all seemed to be bland and lacking all the spices that make a pizza sauce taste as it should. Then there is the crust...  ::)

Last night we had baked fish and potato pancakes. Tonight it is spaghetti with mince and mushrooms in Ragu (on sale this week), with garlic bread. It seemed like a good idea until the kitchen steamed up.

Thanks!  ;D He had a good day. :)

It was too hot to cook, especially sharing a kitchen, so we ordered Chinese, even though we had it last night.
