J caught a nice 2.5 lb trout

So I made roasted trout, brown rice pilaf, cabbage and broccoli rabe from the allotment, and carrot slaw

We had a butternut squash and puy lentil stew. Wintery food for another rather cool June evening.  :-\\\\

Last night my brother grilled. I love that guy! We had pork chops that had been marinated in bbq sauce, and some hot dogs. We also had creek fries, green beans and a couple other sides.

No clue what tonight will be, but it might be a bag of popcorn because that is what I am craving.

I'm thinking a breakfast for dinner night with a poached egg sandwich. It's just me Monday night-Thursday night so I don't go crazy with cooking my own meals!

Last night was my old standby, very veggie chili.

Tonight there's a bbq at hubby's work (weather not looking good for it though) and if one of his workmates is doing her usual vegetarian pumpkin curry I'm in for a real treat!  (If not, I'd better bring nibbles just in case.)

I'd like either pumpkin curry or indian spinach soup please!   :)

I at least made myself a gorgeous corn chowder and had some salad with it

Last night was a quick Hamburger Helper Lasagna with green beans and corn. Tonight my oldest niece is cooking. I can't wait to see what she makes.

We ordered Chinese yesterday because I was so shattered... Today we had the little bit that was leftover and I made chicken soup with the stock I made on sunday. Bit warm for soup, but I didn't want the stock to go to waste.

You could always freeze it as well.  :)

Last night we had Italian-style lentil and veggie stew that I made the day before.  Hubby had his with venison meatballs and I had veggie sausages.
