I'm thinking a sirloin steak, veg and a tiny bit of mashed potatoes.

Whiting wrapped in pancetta, plus lots of allotment veg -cabbage and chard, and purple topped turnips.

Plus clotted cream ice cream with a crumble topped strawberry rhubarb compote (went berry picking in the rain today  ;))

I went to a belated 4th of July BBQ at DH's cousin and his American wife's house. It was wonderful... We had burgers, hot dogs and chicken on the grill, potato salad, I made baked beans with bacon and brown sugar, and coleslaw... There was watermelon, grilled pineapple, I can't even remember what else. All was fabulous. And the company was lovely. :)

We're having friends around, so grilled chicken (I've decided to marinate it with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and 5 spice), a cold Chinese noodle salad, and grilled veggies. I'll make a buttermilk cake for afters and hopefully I'll find nice peaches to use in it.

It was so good. ;D Came home with loads of leftovers, so that will be dinner tomorrow!

Tonight we had BLTs, potato salad, and leftover coleslaw.

We don't tend to have tea on Sundays as we have our big Sunday roast around 2:30. Hubby will have some cheese on toast usually but chicklet and I are usually not hungry. Tonight she and I were naughty though. While hubby was making his cheese on toast I took some clotted cream ice cream, fresh sliced strawberries, some sliced banana, bit of chocolate sauce, and some double cream and we had little sundaes that were very yummy. I'll have to add an extra mile onto my walk tomorrow to pay for it though. :D

It's DH's birthday and he picked beef goulash with crusty rolls. It's a WW recipe which would be great if he wasn't so skinny already!

I'm thinking it's a comfort food night! So it's either beef goulash or a rustic tortellini soup night! I LOVE both!

Haven't got the foggiest clues today! I hate when I wake up and its one of the first things on my mind..."What do I make for tea???!" Well, hopefully something will strike my fancy between now and then!

I feel the same way; it's one of the reasons I opened the thread again today - I was hoping for ideas!

I'm not much of a cook, anyway, but it doesn't help that we're running low on veggies, and I don't know what to do with the ones we have. :P I seem to be missing something for every recipe site I've looked at, and our next shop isn't until Sunday. This is going to be a creative (I hope!) week. :)
