With visitors in town, we have been out nearly every night. They arrived Sunday, and it has been:
Sunday: O'Charley's, where I had steak and ribs
Monday: Los Bravos, where I had a steak fajita taco salad
Tuesday: Applebee's, where I had ribs
Wednesday: MIL cooked
and tonight we are out for Indian. I am starting to actually crave home cooking, even though everything has been fantastic.  ::)

This recipe from the Pioneer Woman http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2010/07/pasta-with-pancetta-and-leeks/

She made it on her show this weekend and I happened to be passing by and saw the deliciousness. It will be with bacon though since I couldn't find pancetta at our normal grocery store and it was pouring rain all day, we didn't want to go multiple places.

Oh no! LOL! Forgot yesterday that I was doing "Meatless Monday's"...Didn't go meatless! (Although I'm not sure processed frozen fish sticks count! Heehee!) I picked up a tinned crab that was on sale the other day, so I'm thinking a salad with the crab on top! Yumm!!

North African Squash and Chickpea Stew

Yum! Vegetarian??

Cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, and green beans

My mother does this exact menu. So good! :D

I'm doing a vegan "Cream" of Celery soup since I have received celery for 3 weeks straight in my veg box. I can't seem to use it fast enough.  :-\\\\

Yes indeed!  :)

If you're still struggling, how about waldorf salad, stuffed celery (pb or cream cheese or almond butter or apple butter) or celery gratin (Hugh does a great one in the Veg Everyday book), or braised celery?

I've got a (veggie - made with soya mince) spaghetti bolognese in my slowcooker simmering away. I'll have with spaghetti (obviously  ;)) tossed with shredded courgettes (from the garden) to bulk it out a bit and not eat too much pasta as I could eat about 95,000 servings if I'm not careful, and gonna have some steamed brociflower (also from the garden)

Courtney, cream of celery soup sounds good as do pb's suggestions.  When I need to use up celery I just put extra into anything I'm making that's a soup, stew, curry, or chili.  If the recipe calls for 2 sticks I'll put in 4, or put some in even if it's not on the recipe.

I made a middle eastern veggie and red lentil stew, using up a big part of a giant marrow from a friend's garden.

Thanks for the celery tips ladies! Part of the problem is that neither one of us love it raw, so that is out. I do keep putting it in things, but it kept coming each week. I have 3 in the fridge now and have already plowed through 2 the weeks previous. I finally "unliked" it on the A&C page just to get a rest!  ;D

Oh, that's good that you can 'unlike' it.  We used to get a veg box and got loads and loads of potatoes every time (too many to use each week!) so we stopped getting the box since we couldn't 'unlike' anything.
