We'll have to exchange notes after.  :)

I thought they turned out really well (I made the creamy ones) and my new *ahem* friend practically licked his plate.  I would not have added any stock to the filling as I didn't think it needed it and just a splash of cream.  But the sauce was delish!

Tonight I'll be having leftovers served with a side of panic about finishing up a big paper!!

Had an unpleasant day at work, got home late, DH is out with the boys tonight, so I think soup & toast might just hit the spot for me.

marinated pork fillets and baked potatoes.  I stuck the pork in to marinade before going to work and I need an easy to cook meal tonight since I'm going to be helping teach a lifelong learning course on the Reformation for a friend tonight.  I don't have time to think about dinner.

chicken and dumplings
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

About to make lunch:

Grilled marinaded chicken salad (mixed spring greens) with poppyseed dressing.

Dinner:

Leftover grilled chicken in pasta with alfredo sauce, mushrooms, and broccoli!

Yummy!

We had chicken escalopes, baked potatoes, and beans. Plus too many olives. I have an addiction!

Sesame noodles. But I'm still hungry, so maybe I'll make popcorn or something, too.

It makes me happy that you made sesame noodles. ;) The PW recipe?

Popcorn sounds amazing right now. You're a bad influence!

Yep. Minus green onions, because they're at my old flat (stupid tiny fridge).

Popcorn is awesome. :) I make it several times a week sometimes.

Yum! I rarely have green onions in my flat. ;) I usually throw in dried chives and some onion powder to the sauce to make up for it.

I'm in love with popcorn. Vincent is less thrilled by it, but we just made it for the first time in ages the other day. I put Nando's seasoning salt on it and it was the best thing ever!

That sounds yummy. I haven't found seasoning or popcorn salt here yet, but will keep an eye out.

Very Veggie Chili.

I just found out that Cauldron veggie sausages have egg in them!  :o  I've been eating them all this time, did I not ever check the ingredients before or is egg something new since they changed their packaging a little while back?  ???  Anyway, I will have to find an alternative....
