Spaghetti Squash & Vegan Mushroom Cream Sauce
Yummmmm!

I have no idea what we're going to cook today... We have chicken thighs, sausages, beetroot, celery, and tomatoes. Plus fully stocked cupboards. But nothing is even sounding appealing. ???

Spaghetti with meat sauce and mushrooms. Peach slices for dessert and unsweetened homemade apple sauce for a snack later tonight if needed.

I've started Spark People again to try and lose weight, so most of my meals will be coming from there for a while.

Also, the local ALDI here had packs of 6 tomatoes for 19p! I bought 11 packs and would have gotten more but I can only carry so many...

With the ability to procure cheap, good quality milk here, I'm probably going to try my hand at slow cooker homemade yoghurt again. I have rediscovered just how good plain low fat yoghurt with sliced fruit is! ;D

Ooof - we had a Mexican feast!  Frijoles borrachos, plus chicken & black bean enchiladas verde.  DH had Coronas & I'm having a naughty bottle of cider.  Stuffed!

Either left over Chicken Pot Pie or possibly dried beef gravy on toast.  Too tired and headachy to cook anything fancy.

Well I want what Courtney is having (alas, I have no need for a veg box as I am having far too much fun growing my own however, can I please get one just full of spaghetti squash?!?! Please?)

Since I don't have spaghetti squash I made: homemade cream of tomato soup and a grilled cheese tomato and pickle sandwich

Chicken tacos, nachos, and beets in vinegar with some onion. The chicken for the tacos has been simmering in the crockpot all day. Smells wonderful! :)

I made a chicken curry in the crockpot that tasted like it was from a takeaway.  :o Only I'm sure it was a bit less fattening. I've never made a good curry before. DH and I are both really pleased. ;D

I made a version of pb's Afghani Carrot Hot Pot the other night, but decided to more than double the amounts of spices, but I think I over did it as hubby had indigestion all through the night and the next day.

Ooh, that sounds amazing!

We got a slow cooker over the weekend, so this morning I experimented a bit.... Threw in some onions, garlic, pork chops, soy sauce, and a little sesame oil and brown sugar. Not sure how it'll come out, but I'm looking forward to it. :D
