We were going to make a steak pudding, but we can't quite remember how. We are modifying it to make a steak pie and mash. Pecan pie for dessert.

A very late meal, but it is a concoction that is hubby's recipe. It is more or less a Spam, cheese and tomato quiche. While it sounds odd, it is very tasty. The eggs are separated, and once it has time to bake, the beaten whites go on top and it is baked a while longer.

First of many meals and nights out this Christmas season!

Tis the season to be eatin'! Enjoy!  [smiley=antlers.gif]

I'm having homemade chicken, veg and rice soup, and hubby is making a 'way too spicy for normal people' spicy chicken and veg soup. Ahhh... crockpot weather. It may not be cold yet, but at least we've dropped back into the 50s.

We are having that deconstructed stuffed cabbage casserole thing - I think PB (or somebody else?) posted about it a long time ago!  :)

Skate in a lemon/butter/wine sauce, 'neep, carrot, and savoy cabbage

Skate is a weird fish to prepare, but very tasty!

Pork chops, roasted broccoli and roasted butternut squash with carmelized onions and gorgonzola. Soooo hungry already.

We had chili. Both crockpots were used, so we could have 'sorta' hot, and 'burn your face off' hot.
