Spaghetti and meatballs sounds really good to me right now! Might have to make it soon!

We're having pork roast, garlic dauphinoise potatoes, and roasted sprouts

It's supposed to be lamb burgers and chips... But that sounds awful to me right now. Going to see if I can convince DH to take me for Thai, because that's what I really want!

Tonight is a roasted pork loin, garlic mashed taters, home made applesauce, and steamed veggies. Not exactly sure why I decided on such a big meal in the middle of the week especially today as I've spent the last 3.5 hours cleaning upstairs. I haven't even eaten lunch!

I made a creole gumbo with andoille, lardo, chicken and shrimps.
I think my roux could have been darker but otherwise I'm really pleased, spicy and delicious! :)

I made spaghetti bolognese & there's plenty of leftover sauce for the freezer - yay!  I've got a container of chili in the freezer already & then this sauce -- we'll have a couple easy meals when we get back from the in-laws after Christmas, without having to think about what to cook for a couple days.  :)

Hubby made an amazing beef stew while I was at work.

Where did you find the andouille?! No one here in Norwich has ever even heard of it!

Today is our first anniversary, so DH said: don't cook, I'm taking you out! I'm to meet him at Nando's!  ;D

Happy anniversary! :) I do adore Nando's, and miss it terribly. Our closest one is states away. At the moment the only one I am aware of, probably the only one that exists, in the States is in DC.
