Happy anniversary! :) I do adore Nando's, and miss it terribly. Our closest one is states away. At the moment the only one I am aware of, probably the only one that exists, in the States is in DC.

I did see Nandos sauces in a middle of nowhere supermarket in Massachusetts when I was there at Thanksgiving - so you may be able to try and re-create it   :)

I will have to look next time I go shopping. We bought the sauces at Morrisons all the time, but I haven't thought to see if I could get them here.

Hubs going to make bangers & mash, and the rest of our kale to go with!  :)

We went out Christmas shopping after hubby got home from work so when we got home I was super hungry (didn't get a chance to eat all day) so we had bacon, eggs, beans, and toast.

Last night was using up bits - I made chicken breasts stuffed with mozzarella & chorizo bits, smothered in garlicky marinara/red sauce & baked.  Over egg tagliatelle, with some steamed broccoli on the side.

Tonight is a really rare treat - takeaway fish & chips & mushy peas, yay!  (no cooking!)

I've got minestrone in the slow cooker - as you can tell, I quite enjoy soups and stews when its cold!

Chicken fajitas here. Full of yummy veggies. Good thing too, because we are planning on making mudslides for dessert. Ice cream and alcohol, wonderful combination!

Well hubby had a big meal with work today, I'm feeling a bit under the weather, and chicklet says everything she tries to eat tastes horrible, so we had cheese on toast, or bacon and cheese sandwiches. Really hoping whatever germ has hit this house beats it out of here before Santa is due!

wensleydale cheese with cranberries

Oooh! I adore wensleydale cheese with cranberries! :D

At the moment we have decided if we get hungry we are just going to nibble. We had a big lunch and popcorn during a matinee, so we aren't hungry at the moment.

Last night we had jacket potatoes with corn and Philly on them. It sounds odd, but it is one of hubby's creations from his bachelor days.
