Last night I brought pizza home when I got off work, and we had a bit of beer with it. No idea what tonight will be, but it will quite possibly be some of the soups we made a couple days ago.

Tonight is going to be beans on eggs on cheese on toast, with a few hash browns thrown in for good measure.

We have a budget of £20 for the month of January, so meals here might get creative/interesting towards the end!

About two weeks ago we did find a few bags of red potatoes on clearance at Morrisons. 15 kg at 11.4p/kg. Which means we have plenty of red potatoes. Stuck two apples in with them to help the sprouting of them to hold off a little longer. I think a hearty potato soup may be on the menu for sometime this month.  :D

Last night I ended up stopping for Chinese on the way home from work. Hubby had a craving.  ;D Tonight we are going to finish up the veggie soup.

Soup again.  I've had a nasty cold this week.  Very little tastes good at the moment.

Last night we had a selection of cheeses on crackers while watching "Wallace & Gromit" (we meant to do it closer to Christmas, but late is better than never).

If I get some 'get up and go', we might have chili tonight, but at the moment I am thinking the cheese and crackers thing sounds like a good idea. Today is the day the Christmas decs come down, in addition to normal weekly housecleaning needing to be done.

We ended up kidnapping dad and going to Denny's. After taking down the Christmas decs, we ended up rearranging the living room. It was easier to drive than cook.  ;D
