Oo, I just found this thread and I'm so happy. Love food talk. :)

Last night I made hearty Italian soup from my new 'Allergy-Free and Easy Cooking' cookbook, which was a holiday gift from my aunt. It went over well enough that there are no leftovers. Here is a photo (are photos okay in this thread? I didn't see anything about that):

Wow that looks amazing!

I'm cooking double today so we can either have my Very Veggie Chilli or a Veggie Tomato-y Sauce with pasta and chick peas.

Any leftovers of the tomato sauce could easily be stretched to make an Italian style soup like cygnoir's.

Last night we had pizza, and the diet starts today so we are having broccoli soup.

Last night was slow-cooker Mediterranean stew [nofollow] , and there's enough that it will likely be again tonight! :)

Sounds delicious!

A sausage & lentil-ly & vegetable-y soup/stew thing, and hopefully a lot of red wine. I've a box of Puy lentils I've been working our way through, trying to like lentils but I'm afraid they just don't do anything for me unless they can be wholly disguised by other ingredients.  [smiley=bleck.gif]

(except for red lentils in dal - that's nice)

Homemade pizzas. Pepperoni for hubby, cheese and black olive for chicklet, and veggies for me. They had a homemade crust...I had mine on low carb wrap. Cutting those calories where I can. I just realized tonight that I had no meat at all today which is really weird for me, but I never noticed at all!

Sounds delicious!

My husband said it was the most delicious dinner ever! He's easy to please.  ;) Seriously though, it was pretty tasty!

I love lentils! That reminds me that I have a sausage and lentil casserole recipe that I haven't made in forever. Maybe I'll give it a go this week!
