Baked haddock and homemade coleslaw. Hubby ordered fish and chips, and chicklet had left over pasta.

We spent all day with our friends helping them move their house , thus we ended the day with lots of red wine and Indian take-away.

My Irishman's favorite meal - roast chicken, roast potatoes, and steamed cauliflower/broccoli. Guess we'll have ham and cabbage another night!  :P Oh, and I found some Irish cheddar with porter. I haven't had it since Dublin, so I'm looking forward to tucking into a bit of that!

Do you cook your kohlrabi? I've only ever eaten it raw.

Afghani Carrot Hot Pot.  I replaced some of the carrots with peppers, doubled the amount of spices and used red lentils instead of yellow split peas (didn't have any).

I get the night off cooking - woohoo! We've leftover lamb roast from Sunday & DH is going to make us a curry. There will probably be some veg thrown into it as well. I love lamb curry!  :)

Yum!

I'm making butternut squash and bok choy stir fry with veggie dumplings and marinated tofu.

I never tried to stir fry butternut squash--it sounds good though!

Sounds yummy Andee, let me know how it comes out, because I may try it your way  ;)
I think doubling the spices (not the chili though!) really works.  I even left out some of the red lentils so the flavor was a bit more than doubled in the end.
