keema curry tonight!  I've spent the last couple of hours doing it (even made my own ghee, which is so easy and so much nicer than the tinned stuff i normally use!), and just have the finishing touches (I always stir in a fresh green chilli and coriander puree just before serving, and tweak the spice levels) to do after work tonight.

Oh yum, my mouth just started watering! I love keema! I really need to stop reading this thread first thing in the morning, makes me so hungry!

We're doing spaghetti and meatballs as its one of chicklets favourite meals. I'll actually probably have some chicken with mine rather than the meatballs, as I can eat more chicken than beef when it comes to calories.

I'm making butternut squash and bok choy stir fry with veggie dumplings and marinated tofu.

Yum to this!

I think doubling the spices (not the chili though!) really works.  I even left out some of the red lentils so the flavor was a bit more than doubled in the end.

Good stuff, I think I shall have to try  :)

Hubs is on a works night out tonight, so I'm being really naughty & having something I almost never have because he doesn't like them - American pancakes, complete with Aunt Jemima! And I'll also have British bacon too. Mmmm, breakfast for supper!  ;D

I usually only have proper pancakes (not the British crepes/pancakes) when we go to the US & hit IHOP. Last time, I really made him suffer & we went to IHOP two days in a row.  >:D

What do you put in your split pea soup?  Besides split peas, of course!  :D

I've taken a container of Afghani carrot stew out of the freezer and added stuff to it to bulk it up--more of the same spices plus chopped onion, peppers and more tomatoes.

LOVE the pancakes for dinner Mrs R. Yum!  :D

Andee- split peas, onion, 1 or 2 finely diced carrots, 1 finely chopped potato, bay leaf, veg stock cube. If it need more punch when it's done I've been known to add a touch of soy sauce or balsamic vinegar. Smoked paprika is nice too.  :D

Tonight I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich as I just got home and am too tired to cook.  ;D
