We had this for dinner last night. It was delicious and super simple to make!

I had some Greek-style giant white beans that I got from Trader Joe's, so we had those and steamed broccoli with the fish.

This is the classic recipe for those Gigantes Plaki:

Your dinner sounds good!!  :)

I have started on a nice bottle of dry rosé - not a wine I often think about, but just right for a summer's (albeit rainy) day! Going to do a roasted or sauteed veg peporonata sort of thing, alongside a fish fillet - alas, for one tonight...  :-\\\\

But there should be enough leftovers for me to do other stuff with the leftover veg on subsequent day(s) - omelette with some chorizo bits, over pasta, etc.  :)
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

On my tod again here (hubs away on business for a little while), but as it's Sunday - I roasted myself a chicken to have with some veg. Consequently, I'll be having chicken-something-or-other each day now until this chicken is gone.  :D

Yes! That's them! But I poured them from a jar and they were done in 5 minutes!  :P I'll save this recipe and try them from scratch one day. Thanks! Enjoy your roast chicken!

Tonight we're having this over thin spaghetti and probably more broccoli (we love broccoli):

We went out... again... MIL landed Wednesday and we have been out every evening since. Not that I am not enjoying it, but the calories we have consumed are insane.

Tonight I had a combo platter of 1/4 slab baby back ribs, two pecan glazed chicken tenders, and a baked potato. I also had a soup starter.

Crock pot teriyaki beef, stir fried choi sum and shiro shimeji mushrooms, and a spicy carrot slaw.  Easy peasy with prep done last night and was yummy!!!

Lasagna with LOTS of mushrooms, and some garlic bread. For the first time since MIL arrived on June 19th, we are eating in. Holy cow!

Hubby and I are hitting the diet hard after she heads home.

MIL heads home today, so we are eating in tonight. Hubby is having beans and eggs on toast, because he found Heinz beans at the international store. At $1.99 a tin, he will only be having them on occasion.  ;D

I'll be having having slow roasted turkey with a bunch of veggies from the garden.
