Butter chicken over Basmati rice. We found some amazing, reasonably priced seasoning packets at the international store, so we can cheat when we don't have the time to make our own curry from scratch.

After a huge lunch at J. Gumbo's with a friend, we had salads tonight.

The weather was so lovely we fired up the BBQ and grilled some trout. Served it with new potatoes and a salad filled with veg from the in law's flourishing garden, courgette flowers and everything.

We went to Subway. Even with air conditioning, it was far too hot to cook. Hot as it was outside, I'd have been happy with a bowl of cereal, to save getting out in the heat.  ;D

We are T-minus two hours from slow-cooked shredded pork loin (with homemade barbecue sauce) soft tacos with black-eyed peas, iceberg and cheese, and homemade salsa creamy avocado-lime dressing. Having a hard time keeping my face out of the slow-cooker.

Lunch is bratwursts and corn on the cob.

Dinner is chicken stir-fry.
