Steamed veggies over creole rice.

Mixed up a broth with the seasonings of last night's dinner and made a soup out of it. It was perfect for this cold evening.

Mmm! Comfort food!

I made a warm salad of roasted veg, spelt, and mackrel last night.

Love comfort food on a cold night.  :)

It isn't cold today, merely cool, but we are having chili tonight.

Eggs in the hole! Had to run out quick tonight. But still very comforting!

We went the lazy route and let Taco Bell do the cooking.

Yum! Nothing better than meatloaf and mash! Definite comfort food. :)

We had steak, grilled chicken, baked potatoes and corn.

Beef and dumplings, which was good for a cool, rainy evening. After highs of nearly 80 on Saturday and yesterday, we had a rainy, breezy high of 66 today, with a low of 33 and snow showers overnight tonight. Hot and hearty seemed to be the way to go.

Last night was homemade tom yum soup (which tastes even better today as lunch leftovers)

Tonight, I've got a turkey, sweet potato and cannelli bean stew in the slow cooker
