Red lentil, barley and veg soup. I bought a soup kit of the lentils and a seasoning pack, then added the barley, mushrooms, carrots and celery.

It does sound good.  I think I may do that tomorrow, but with mung beans instead of chick peas as I already have them soaking.

The tacos sound good, too.  I've made a spicy and hearty tomato-y Italian-type stew with aubergines, yellow squash, celery and chick peas.

We're going to have chicken stir fry.

I made some roast beef and we sliced it up for sandwiches. It was very yummy.

I just ordered sausage pizza, Old Bay wings, and husband is picking up beer. It's been that kind of week!

We went for a late lunch/early dinner at a steak house with a friend a bit ago.

We ordered from our fave Italian place, and I had the spaghetti and meatballs. There hasn't been anything we haven't liked from there, but the authentic Italian magician in the kitchen does something out of this world with the meatballs. We always order extra.

Seems I forget to post when I cook.  ;D We are currently waiting on a six cheese pizza and breadsticks from Papa Johns. After a hectic and stressful day at work neither of us felt like cooking, even if cooking meant cracking open a can of soup.

I'm thinking about having a bottle of Hobgoblin with it, and we don't drink very often at all on school nights
