Very jittery lately. Probably time for more thyroid meds, for which I will hopefully get some blood drawn this week with my physical.

Having to pretend that I'm happy and excited to do data entry in a system that seems to have been made to create work, not lessen it.

I feel my brain cells committing sucide one by one.

Know the feeling. Just spent the entire morning updating records for documents pertaining to a tribunal on the guano industry in Peru!

There's a plastic trash thing and an apple core in the draining part of the sink.

So I can't leave rinsed (but not actually washed) dishes in the sink, or non-food trash in my trash can, but you can leave random food out for hours? WTF?

(Not that I really care about those things, unless they're still there tomorrow, but the hypocrisy bugs the crap out of me.)

I'm tempted. I'm super conflict-averse, though, so I've been sticking with the "keep my mouth shut and work on getting the hell out" strategy.

Also, I managed to order the wrong type of cable for my backup drive, so now I have to send it back and wait for another one. :(

I'm still so exhausted from my surgery, I guess. I slept for over 12 hours last night and only woke up because the dog was whining for a wee.  :( I feel like I could go back to sleep now, and I'm planning to return to work tomorrow, to a giant pile of To-Do's.  >:(

I smashed my left thumb in the door hinge. Fortunately, it isn't as bad as when I smashed my left index finger with a car door, but I still got some internal bleeding and bruising. I'm left handed so I'm going to be uncomfortable for a while :(

Why do people leave their Christmas wreaths up for months after the event!  ??? It's March already for crying out loud! I can understand not getting the lights down (although why keep them switched on) but a lousy Christmas wreath?

Neverending is right.  I finally gave up the battle when my son started secondary school.  His black shoes have been tan ever since.
