Is it so much to ask just to be able to live here, with my pets, without having my life interrupted every 5 minutes by something stupid/annoying?

I have NO idea how you haven't gone stark raving mad.  Your flatmate sounds like a nut and a giant PITA to boot.  Good luck and speedy vibes for a quick exit.

Awww :( Can't believe it's got evenmore annoying than since dinner like 12 hours ago! Hope one of your flats turns out to be good and you finally get somewhere decent to live sans Psychos!

(bet Ace is loving the attention though!)

I know! It's like every day is "I wonder what new way she'll find to annoy the crap out of me and be inconsiderate".

Ace liked the attention, not so fond of waiting for breakfast while his bowls got washed, or getting kicked out of his bed for that to be hoovered.

There are two books I am really wanting to buy, but they're not in my budget...

The Plastic Film and Foil Web Handling Guide £87
Thin Films Material Technology: Sputtering of Compound Materials £115

Ouch! Why do technology/engineering books have to cost so much?

Despite having the kids with a babysitter for a few hours yesterday and (finally) with their Dad for the day today, I know I'm still not going to get everything done I need to. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Another meltdown from the kiddo over this long-term report he's been doing.  This time, it was over changing a sentence that didn't make sense.  Do all kids cry about having to erase something they've written?

I feel like I'm experiencing Monteczuma's Revenge. But no, it was just caused by an average bit of spaghetti with plain tomato sauce (well within date). Seems to be the return of my 'I refuse to digest anything properly' stomach as this keeps happening at least once a week. It happened after a small bowl of plain rice last week... looks like it's time for more visits to the GP and new medications.  :-\\\\

My mom doesn't sound good.  She's refusing dialysis and I want to scream at her but I can't.  This is s**t.  >:(

Woke up at 5:15 this morning with cramps.  I'm supposed to go to a career fair today, but I really just want to sit on the couch, under a duvet, with my hot water bottle all day.  :-\\\\

Didn't sleep very well at the sleep study last night.

Also got chastised (albeit mildly) for "not sleeping like I normally do" because I usually snore (so I've been told) and last night I didn't. Well, thanks, but normally I don't sleep with machines attached to me, without my dog/cat, and with a paper-thin blanket. Not sure that I really could have done anything about that.

At least it's done with - now to hope that the results are informative.
