They will keep doing that  :(  Does he have a collar with a bell?  Probably wouldn't do much but you like to think something would help.

He used to have a bell but either he lost it or his owner removed it.  I thought he was too big and lazy to be able to catch anything, but I was wrong.  :(

I know how you feel. My cat caught a bird on Monday, brought it into the conservatory, killed it and brought it into the lounge. It was pretty grim. Poor bird. :(

Feel better Albatross! I can't imagine how painful that must be!  :(

I'll join you in the pain club, though. I've been ill since Friday and am home with some very swollen, painful glands. Really hoping they don't get any worse and I need meds. I hate trying to get a same day appointment at the GP!
I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.' Kurt Vonnegut

Albatross: OUCH! In three places? Well, that doesn't sound good! I hope you heal quickly!!

MY IA: Well, you know who it's about... who else... A certain someone had all week to tell us that they were bringing in a fix it man to demo the bathroom this morning (He showed up at 8am) but didn't (why would he? that would be considerate!) and it will be completely unusable for the near future. So I've emailed one of DH's friends to see if we can stay at their flat a few days.

The stupid weather had me feeling really fed up yesterday, and I am not one to be so affected by the weather.  If this was October or November, etc. it wouldn't have bothered me at all.  But it's almost June and it was my day off! [smiley=bigcry.gif]

Anyway, today's looking much much better already.

My IA: One of my volunteers ran into one of my old managers from work and when she found out I was still at the job she said, "They'll be taking her out of there in a coffin."  ???  Now what the heck is *that* supposed to mean?!  Just because she was (is still?) miserable....  It's not really a phrase used to describe an energetic, fun person like me in any capacity.  Not nice.  >:(
