My life. It's one big IA these days.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

My uni still hasn't sent me a letter I need for my visa app. My leave runs out in 3 weeks. I'm panicking. And I might lose my job over my uni's complete incompetence.

To top off today, I got stuck in a stairwell at work. For some reason my security pass would let me in, but not out!

After a busy day at work, I've been working at home all night, reading through some pretty boring policy stuff. Ahhhh, the joys of working in HR!  :P

I used to love when we'd have a day having employment law updates but I really enjoyed the policy stuff.

I'm sorry balmerhon!

That's scary stuff.  I knew a girl that was struggling to get the bank statement she needed to apply for her PSW visa.  She was really biting her nails until she got it as I think her statement never did arrive.  She did get the visa though.

Aww poor J has man flu.  He's never one for complaining and is always tough as nails. But today, he called me to let me know that man flu has taken hold of him and he's feverish and poorly.  He sounds absolutely awful.  He's attempting to make his way to work, but I yelled at him, but he's not listening  :-\\\\

He picked me up on Tuesday night and stayed over my place, and I'm already run down from travelling and I'm starting to get a sore throat again (after being previously ill last week  :-X) so I really hope he hasn't passed his man flu to me either.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I'd go camp out in whomevers office and not leave until I had it in my hand. Sometimes you have to do drastic things to make sure it gets done  :-\\\\ Good Luck.

My house (of limited space) is now filled with DS's furniture, laundry, boxes, etc. I have to climb over empty drawers in the living room.

New lady at work is doing my head in! She
knows some of the children personally, and insted
of helping me get all of them up and out to go out
and play, she sat and had a natter with the ones
she knows! So awkward.

Just cooked dinner...sesame noodles. Should take 10 minutes, and be dead easy. Instead, it felt like a giant pain in the butt because I had to dig everything out of the cupboards prior to using it, and now the minute I'm done eating I'm going to be paranoid about needing to clean everything up again.

(As an aside, my pet food was re-aligned in its cupboard this evening. It's UNDER THE SINK. No one can see it. Not that I care if it's perfectly aligned or not, but I hate feeling like now I have to line it up perfectly.)

We have no money, and are impatiently awaiting pay day, still nearly 2 weeks away. I haven't been paid correctly the past 2 months (I switched from 4 days a week to 5 days a week and the finance lady "forgot to send the papework  ::) ). So I'm frustrated to know that I should have a buffer but don't.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

Man, that sucks. :( I was told "not to expect much" with regard to pay frequency/reliability today. (The woman who told me has worked there for 3 years and is currently waiting on her pay since mid-December..and she invoices weekly.)

So that should be fun. Not.

Annoying beyond belief...the assumption that I personally know every single relative someone has that lives in the United States
Do they not study geography? Michigan isn't anywhere near Arizona.
