I've written a mere 1600 words of the 3000 due by noon tomorrow.  I have nothing else to say.   :P

Time for some good old fashioned BSing.   ;)

I know your pain! Good luck! :)

My IA: I also have an essay due soon and I have no will to write it and everyone is absolutely grumpy today and thinks that it is alright to snap at me  ::)

Ha! I just finished my 6000 word paper (it's a final report for a steering group, and we're aiming to publish somewhere...)--of course, now I have to go through and double check all of the referencing and etc. Blech.

Ehh Blue Monday is such a true thing-
Because I've really been feeling the blues the past few days...  At least the sun has come out today and I'm gonna go out for a short walk here at lunch - so hopefully that will help my mood a tiny bit

Same here!  Except the BBC promised me sun today & the forecast still says SUN on it, and there's been NO sun yet - only white/grey clouds.  :( :\\\'(

First, I had to wait 20min for a bus to my hospital appt this morning. Then it took 2.5 hours (!!) to see the dr. Then I had to go back to phlebotomy afterwards because someone screwed up and only half my vials were taken. I told my boss it'd be quick today and it's already past one. My appt was 9:30. :(

My pot is too small and we can't afford to get a bigger one just now.  Yet again I have barely managed to fit dinner into it.  I need to "Accio" my giant stock pot from the US because this is getting really annoying!

I feel like I've had a cold for weeks now. The only symptom is endless congestion. I just want it to stop because it's sapping what little energy I have.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I somehow managed to pull it out in the end!  I think I just need my feet under the fire to get 'er done.  Best luck rynn on your paper and Jennie on being published!  :)

TODAY!!!  TODAY HAS BEEN ONE LONG EFFING IA.  Everything I tried to do on my own at my new job failed including one majorly bad thing.  At least the staff was trying to cheer me up a little.

And, I forgot to get my boss to sign my time off form. :(  I guess there is always tomorrow.

Awww.   :( I'm sure it's just a learning curve.  Give yourself a break, you'll learn the ropes soon enough and it will be fun then!  [smiley=hug.gif]

Congrats Sarah! :) and thanks! The paper is merely a book review and thankfully I have the British library as a fantastic resource.

Good luck with the publishing! Be sure to tell me how it goes for you so maybe *some day* I can work on getting something printed as well. How exciting! Since the written bulk is finished, that's a huge relief right? For editing I recommend reading aloud since that helps me catch my mistakes.

My IA: The fact that the Repubs want to repeal Obama's health care bill :(

You are so right.  I'm just frustrated because I could not do one thing without help today after a week of training.   :(

Waiting to see how bad the snow, sleet/ice, rain and more snow turns out tomorrow.  ??? I'd rather have a blizzard.
