That is so annoying! I find the customer service here shocking sometimes. Not saying I didn't get bad customer service in America, but not nearly as bad as I come across it in the UK. Hope that couch actually gets sorted!
Wow, that brought back some memories! We never did get the couch sorted. After another attempted delivery (the details of which I've blocked out), we cancelled the L couch. We went to one of those chain couch places (DFS? Is that one?) and picked out a brown leather couch, one of those ones that looks like it's been used even though it's new.
At the time we did it because my wife has a habit of dropping uncapped pens on the couch, and we figured it wouldn't matter if she did this on a used-looking couch. Seven years later, with two kids under 5, a dog, and a cat, this has turned out to be one of the smartest decisions we've made as a couple.
The children can spill food on it, draw on it, jump on it, the dog can sleep on it in the dead of night when she thinks nobody will notice, and none of this makes it look beat up, because it already looked a little beat up on purpose.
