Rick is totally fine! Or at least he better be because if I get sick I know where to find him now! Lol

Should have taken a photo of our meeting today.

What did you go see and do?

Stayed on Loch Long, just two miles from Loch Lomond. It was absolutely amazing. The best scenery I have ever seen in my life. We went to the Glengoyne Distillery, plenty of walks near the lochs and the village of Luss, SeaLife Centre, Inchmahome Priory, an afternoon in Stirling...honestly, it was just the vacation I needed, and I am already desperate to go back. I even enjoyed a sunny morning on the porch with a pot of tea and a deer came out in front of me. Everything was stunning and I totally begrudged coming back to my town haha

Ugh it's that time of year! I am using hand sanitizer more and taking vitamins in some odd feeble attempt to ward off any colds. I hope you feel better soon!

I live in Helensburgh... just about 8 miles from Luss!
Next time you come up, let me know and we can go for a beer or something! :)

Ok, I wanna go there, I wanna go there!  Where exactly did you stay? Is everything walkable, or would we have problems not having a car?  It sounds like heaven!

We stayed in a cottage in Arrochar, and I'd say you most definitely need a car! If you stay maybe around Balloch on Loch Lomond, it is more accessible, but still quiet with access to a lot of things. From Balloch you can get a water taxi to Luss on the Loch and see that lovely village and a viking grave (if you're into that sort of thing like me!).

We are definitely going back next year and probably stay near Luss next time. We passed near Helensburgh a few times. Will definitely let you know! it's such an amazing area, I can't wait to get back.

Meeting friends at Bill’s tonight for dinner.  I haven’t been to one before.  Looked at the allergy menu and there is exactly ONE item I can have.  One...  <sigh>

That means you'll be the first to say yes when the server asks your table if you're ready to order!  ;)

Seriously, though, does it sound appealing, at least?  It's like back before "vegetarian" was a common thing and restaurants would have the pasta bake option and nothing else.

That sucks. I'm vegetarian and that sometimes severely limits my choices (though not as much as your family's allergies) so I totally understand.

At least you know what you'll get! ;)

My own IA.... I've had to do some marathon hand-sanding of all the panels for the reception desks we're building this week (three days of intense sanding, and now light sanding between coats of polyurethane).  Gripping the sanding block for so long, I've worn my fingerprints off.  Now I have to type in my complex passcode everytime I want to unlock my phone.  And with my husband in Salisbury, we keep in touch by text throughout the days... I have to unlock my phone a LOT!  I cannot wait for my fingerprints to come back.

... they WILL grow back, right?

Yay!  I miss them so much.  This has been going on since Monday night.  My password is 10 characters, random capitalization alphanumeric.  It's a lot to type in just to see a response of "haha", or something.

I have a colleague who rock climbs a few times a week and has the same problem.

Can you turn off the lock (if you don't go out often) or change the code to something simple until he's back?
