Maybe you could give them to the homeless?

Agreed... if no organization can take them for health & safety reasons, I'm sure people trying to get by without the help of organizations would appreciate them.

You should see the homeless in London these days : stacks of food!  You can hardly walk around the imax without tripping over bags of groceries.

13 minutes!  You are an Elfen stalker.  Are you wearing a Santa hat right now?

Just undecorated the tree - so feeling festive.  I thought the tree would last, but the resident kitties have battered it.  We have friends coming over to join us (they are originally from Peru) on Friday - so will decorate the tree tomorrow.  Little do our visitors know that we have bought them some rather over the top Christmas jumpers to wear for dinner on the 25th.  One jumper lights up, and the other one has a full santa beard.

Naturally we have to Christmas trees as befits an elf.

So tomorrow, the Christmas toilet rolls will be put out, the Christmas hand towels, the Christmas kitchen roll etc.

If you are going to do it - then do it, that is my motto!

There's a place in Camberley called The All Night Cafe. It's a homeless shelter. Maybe try ringing them to see if they'll take them?

OMG, I would be on a murderous rampage if I baked cookies to exchange and it got cancelled last minute.
I hope you've found someone to take them and kept the babysitter and found something fun to do!
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I would probably just get super fat if I baked cookies and it got cancelled as I would eat all the cookies  ::)

I would too if they were dairy and soya free!

PB, in years past I’ve made gingerbread with piped designs.  I would have been pissed if those had gone to waste.

I would have just hosted but the kids get in the way.  I can’t have a house full of people and be trying to get the kids off to sleep.

Did they say why they canceled?  I'm trying to find some compassion for the person, but it would take a really good reason to justify this last-minute cancellation.

Pure silliness if it means tens of people who should be coming to your house with home made cookies aren't coming any more. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot

They’re sick.  I get it.  Life happens.  I’m just annoyed at the cookies.  It’s being rescheduled and I’ve said I’ll come but I’m not making cookies again.   ;)

I would like to be the first to offer a caring and loving environment for those poor wayward cookies. 😉
