Get yourself a little fan heater or two. They're not the cheapest to run but they heat a room up really quickly!

How is it that my woodland creature-infested house of no boiler or functional fireplace is warmer than yours?  The thermometer in my bedroom reads 18°C.

We have two oil filled radiators (stand alone) that we use in the kid's rooms at night.  And the fireplace in the lounge.  So we were fine last night.  Husband and I had three blankets on the bed.  Nice and toasty.  It was just REALLY hard to get out of bed this morning!

I moved to two radiators into the bedroom today and pulled the door to, so hopefully it'll be toasty for Sobe.  Yesterday I had plugged one radiator in next to his bed in the lounge but it was only 14 in there!  The room was definitely too big for the small radiator.   He had slept all day in our bed, so hopefully he'll be toasty today.  Plus I'm sure he's laying in the sun!

Unfortunately I don't think it'll be fixed until the weekend.   ::)
