-2F and the bloody bus was about 15 minutes late  >:(
I was dressed appropriately but my toes were hurting.
Over my normal undies I wore:
thermal vest (short sleeved version)
cotton turtleneck
fleece jacket and bottoms
cotton knee socks
heavy wool (Ragg) socks
heavy boots with fleecy lining (somewhat worn) and furry cuffs
leg warmers
down full length "commuter" coat with hood (Lands End)
fleece balaclava
heavy fleece scarf with hood
down mittens (Eddie Bauer)

Guess the boots need replacing  :(

Right there with you.  I freaked when I heard it was going to be -22F due to the windchill.  This is NUTS!  I thought my face was going to freeze off!  You may need to replace your boots and I definitely need to replace my scarf.  Good luck today!

You also suggested to me wrapped each foot up with saran wrap/ cling film then another pair of socks to keep feet warm & dry.   ;)  ;D

I absolutely swear by this method, lol. It's something I picked up from my dad. He was a postal carrier in Northeast Ohio and he had a walking route, which you can imagine isn't ideal in the Cleveland area during the winter!

Ehhh, not very impressed with my performance review and salary/bonus from last year.  I had a decent review, but the scores aren't reflective of my good efforts  :-\\\\ the increase is pretty poor and the bonus even worse-  I'm making less in 2011 then I did in 2010.  And with everything going up with VAT and food going crazy...and urrghh....

I grew up in Indiana so I know how cold winters are an probably just as cold in Ohio!! ;)  :)

My gym no longer has alcohol wipes to wipe down the machines after & before using them. I asked why an was told by my trainer she wasn't able to answer that doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that answer.  ::)  :P  so looks like I will be taking in my own wipes in from now on that's just great they increase the price to go to the gym but give you less typical!! ::)  :P

I'm really frustrated with the company that delivers my medication.  >:( >:( >:(

They were supposed to deliver it on Saturday between 12 and 2. So we went out and ran errands in the morning to assure we were home in time, got home by 11:30 and waited. And waited. And waited some more. Checked the clock and it was 2:30, so I checked my phone to discover it was dead. When I put it on charge and switched it on, I had a voicemail from BEFORE 11am from the company, saying that the driver was outside and waiting, and would have to leave if I didn't go down to meet him. So I called the woman back and said "My delivery window was between 12 and 2." And she said "Yes that's correct." And proceeded to argue with me continually that she most certainly called during that window and that's when the delivery arrived. I told her that no, I was here and waiting near the door for that entire time, so that was not even possible. But she never gave it up. She said "I called on my mobile, so I can check the time on there, but it was between 12 and 2," etc. I was so angry that I was actually shaking when I got off the phone, and put in a complaint to my MS nurse, and today to my normal rep from that company...

Fast foward to my scheduled re-delivery today, which was meant to get here "after 6." That's all they told me. But I'm guessing that since it's now 9:45pm and it has not arrived that it is not coming.  >:( :(

I am really stressed and frustrated, as I only have a 3 day supply left after today. It's really worrying that I could conceivably run out, when I have not gone a day without my meds in nearly a year. I shouldn't have to deal with this.

Grr, that sucks! Awesome of the woman to argue with you and insist that she called at a different time. ::) I hope your medication shows up soon, and the company shapes up!

Thanks, S. I wrote out another complaint to someone at the hospital that deals with them. But I dunno how much it will do... I was in shock that it really didn't arrive last night! After all of this! And I have no time to call today, so hubby is going to call for me. Fingers crossed.

Could your MS nurse write you a script for a two week supply that you could get filled at a local chemist so you'll not run out?...I really hope they get this sorted for you!

BF's inability to manage his finances.  He hadn't noticed that the council tax payments weren't coming out of his account for the past few months and we've just received a very shout-y letter from the council saying we owe £600.  There are no words to describe how incredibly angry I am.  >:(  This, along with all the other stuff he "forgets", is really doing my head in.

And now I'm wondering what all that money I've given him for it must have gone toward.  >:(

Thinking about it, I have a feeling that all that money probably went toward Christmas related stuff.  Ugh.  He's sick over it, so I guess he's getting the shock he needs.

He's agreed that he should probably let me bring him into the 21st century and get him set-up with online banking for his account.  I think we'll also get a notebook to use as a ledger so that he can write everything down that he spends or is expecting to be put in or is expecting to go out, I guess in the hopes that it sticks in his brain a bit better.  I'm going to get a filing box for all of his bank statements as well, and make sure he actually opens his statements since he told me he can't remember the last time he opened one, he just keeps them for our future UP visa.  :-\\\\

Ugh ugh ugh.

PL, so sorry to hear about your troubles with getting your medication.  The 9 year old receives her medication from Central Homecare (the branch based in Alton).  As of yet we haven't had any trouble with them.  Perhaps they would be an option for you?

My IA is back pain that refuses to go away.  I know what the problem is, but not sure what if anything can be done for it.

Broken blood vessel in left eye!  ??? Nurse says it will go away gradually but meanwhile I look like I've been slugging it out with someone.

More snow!  I really hope it doesn't screw with my flight back to London tomorrow.  I need to get there sooner rather than later!
