TOTAL BRAG POST

You guys know how I love my laundry room and my washer and dryer.

Last night at 5:50pm, I put our sheets into the washing machine.  At 7:30, I pulled warm dry sheets out of the dryer ready to go back on the bed.

My husband is dreaming of the day we buy a house big enough for a tumble dryer. That's a worthy brag!

New mattress is heaven. I actually slept soundly enough to not even hear/feel my husband get up for work. But now I have a killer migraine because its not quite done off gassing :( He is in such a good mood this morning. Our TV arrives this evening so we'll have a functional living room again!

I really hope the landlord fixes the oven and finds the boiler leak. This house is perfect for us location-wise and I'd be happy to stay until we buy a house in a couple years.

Haha haha. I have made him turn the other way with wine breath

Nope, it's all the chemicals from the new furniture. I am thankful for no chemical burns, the mattress we sent back caused those.

Yeah, that's on my list for tomorrow and the weekend - was going to message you on FB with the details! They're all in Newbury so I wanted to be sure I was close to sorting the car out.

You might find that if you explain your situation, they may be flexible with your base-location :) Obviously I don't know for sure, but it's not completely ruled out.

We are off tomorrow/monday as it's bank hols so I won't be able to physically speak to HR but can look at our portal for you if you see something.

We have a mouse in the garage.  Aaggghhhhhh!!  Orderedtraps on Amazon yesterday which arrived today.

We’ve been clearing the garage this weekend and it has destroyed SO MUCH.  Just found his stash of nuts (from the bird food) in an old piece of carpet.   :o

Wish us luck in the mouse hunt!

Oh dear! Good luck.

The ants came back with a vengeance from the cold temps and my husband accidentally dropping a tiny piece of a wasabi pea that they definitely found. We think we found their nest outside so it's getting boiling water tonight. *fingers crossed* it works as well as my husband says it does.
