Leave the doggy out there!   ;)

It drives her up the wall! she's constantly barking at all the cats hanging around haha. They are clearly not bothered by her!

Mouse Hunt 2018 Update:

6 traps set yesterday
3 are missing cheese
1 set off
No mouse captured

It appears Mickey is tiny (evidence suggests this) and too light to set off the traps (which are sensitive but obviously not sensitive enough).

We are the ultimate animal lovers.  We know whatever it is that is eating its way through our garage is likely adorable.   :\\\'(

Easter and April Fools Day. I don't know what to believe anymore!

Paleo placenta bars, chickens laying chocolate flavoured eggs, Avocado flavoured Diet Coke... Ugh.

Don't believe a word. I love pranks, but I avoid the news on April Fools Day. I'd rather wait until the day after and catch up on the April Fools Day recap articles.

That said, the story of the EU deciding to change their passports to blue certainly brightened my day. [smiley=laugh4.gif]

I was terrified when I saw the Cursed Child movie poster floating around, then remembered it was April Fool's  ;D

Though a lot of my friends believed it, and I was shamed by those excited  ( I LOVE HP, and I had tickets to see the play, but, I don't know if I want that movie made, it was not the best literary work based of the HP 'verse)

Oh, big hugs!  That would send my blood boiling.

Have you brushed off your CV?  Started distributing yet?

I'm so sorry.  I've been there before where the thought of going into the office makes me sick.  Hoping you are able to get out of there soon!

Yeah, I couldn't even be polite.....

Thanks, starting to revisit my CV for sure!!

Trouble is, I am in the Scottish Highlands and doing the kind of work that I do, well there's nothing....  May need to retrain. I  don't want to move or do the airplane commute.   Maybe even a new job in the company would do me good. There are times of change this year ahead.

Did they do this to everyone in the department or single out you? I genuinely hope that you're able to transfer under someone who respects you a bit more! I'm hoping it's a green boss who just didn't realise that the entire department wasn't also new, but that's probably giving them too much credit.

Honestly, this is my biggest pet peeve about working in the UK.  I genuinely think people are "dumbed down" at work and that big brother is waaaaayyyy to active.

I treat people like the qualified, professional grown ups they are and leave them to get on with their work.  I do NOT feel that is the norm here.

And yes, this is my biggest pet peeve - much more so than the insane hours I've been expected to work in the past (think I may have found a role that will allow me some work/life balance finally!).
