Omg. Yeah, your poor employees :( I would have heat stroke.

I slept on the very cool couch downstairs last night but our upstairs is still sweltering. I'm hoping things actually cool down a bit but not too much!

* Moved to the UK on said visa October 2013
* FLR(M) applied for  May 2016. Biometrics requested June 2016. Approval given July 2016.
* ILR applied for January 2019 (using priority processing). Approved February 2019.
* Citizenship applied for May  2019
* Citizenship approved on July 4th 2019
* Ceremony conducted on August 28th 2019

That should mean everybody gets to go home early :)

I've now told everyone to wear shorts and/or whatever the lightest clothing they can tomorrow.  We're all bringing in fans.  And I'm going to do an ice run and water run.  This is insane.  I get paid well.  I shouldn't be the out buying water and ice.  But someone needs to!

Oh, I'll definitely expense it.  I just meant, if you look at what I make on an hourly wage, sending me to the store for water and ice is a bit silly! 

But we are all sitting here in shorts.  The repair company is here so hopefully it'll be fixed before the afternoon starts to boil again.  It's currently 26C in the office.

In good news, ITS FOOD TRUCK WEEK AT WORK.  Today is Mexican.  I'm VERY excited.

It would kill your lunch hour (Maidenhead) but go for it!  Maybe I'll be one of those people who takes a picture of her meal today...

4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)

8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)
