Jimbo, that whole ordeal sounds really shady.  Surely they had YOUR contact details (email, at least?) and could have let you know there was a problem.

Tuesday no truck, Wednesday cancelled, Thursday - TRUCK!, Friday, cancelled.

25% success rate.  Bullshit.

Wow, 25%!  And I'm still not convinced on the one day a truck showed up.  Whoever organized this needs to seriously re-evaluate their purpose in life.

Where are you for sun? We've got clouds and rain right now. 😫
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Oh, gawd, I would dieeeeee!  Any chance there's a canteen or some vending machines in the break room?  Must have constant infusion of calories!

And I'm guessing no tasty samples today?

I told my husband he had to try the walker strong jalapeño cheddar crisps, and they were SO tasty, but I'm not allowed to steal any again. :( My IA is being allergic to tasty food I really want to eat!

And the doctor I saw last time at the practice didn't put any of prescriptions on repeat like she said she would (and refused to discuss alternatives for the ones not available here), so now I have to wait until June to get my pain meds refilled. That doctor also wasn't an option when I went to schedule an appointment so I am thankful I won't be seeing her again!

The cafe on site in the office park I'm is closed for refurbishment (which is why last week was Food Truck Week).  The new cafe was supposed to open today.  Didn't happen.

We have a Diet Coke fridge and a Pepsi Max fridge downstairs (that are constantly refilled), which is AMAZING for me and my soda habit.  But no snacks laying about today....  I've asked!   ;D

I could go on a quick drive to a convenience store.  But that seems like a lot of effort...   ::)

As a former office lackey (way back in my student days), I suggest you send your more reliable office lackey out to buy you some snacks.  I can assure you they won't mind getting out of the office, and it's no effort on your part.  ;)

Two are on holiday.  One is part-time and has left for the day.  Another doesn't work Mondays.  Of the remaining two, one doesn't drive.  The other is dieting for his wedding a week from Saturday and I don't want to tempt him with treats.  Less than two hours of no-snack-Monday to go.

The fruit bowl downstairs is empty.  I knicked an apple this morning but it's long been digested.   ;D

Wow!  They're all essentially unavailable!  I don't even know what to say.  Oh.  Is the boss in?  If not, order pizza.  Share it with the remaining lackey (not the dieting one, unless you get a vegetarian pizza).  You're allowed cheese, now.  Cheese it up!

I have seen the boss' car but not the boss.

The remaining one (who doesn't drive)....  <sigh>  She SERIOUSLY watches what she eats.  Very paleo diet-type.  Drinks apple cider vinegar and mixes chia seeds into her food in the morning.

90 minutes until home time.  And then ENCHILADAS BABY!  Best to not ruin my appetite now!

Thanks for the awesome suggestions though.  I think I'm going to live!  Didn't think I would two hours ago, but I can do it!  And tomorrow, I shall have snacks!!!!
