Recruiter that seemed slightly sketchy to me keeps telling me my only phone number is invalid. Its fine, I took calls on it this morning and had my husband call me. We'll see if I have the phone interview they've scheduled at 3pm!

That's an odd coincidence, I keep having recruiters tell me my phone doesn't work.  Usually just after they have called me, on my phone.

No call... *sigh* Either a scam or they don't know how to write down a phone number. In the US I'd constantly be contacted for jobs where it was clear they were only trying to meet their "advertisement" requirements so they could hire an h1b visa employee. Wonder if they do the same here for the RLMT?

What's that?? My call has overrun by an hour and I need to push all the rest of my meetings so that means no lunch for me after already having no breakfast? No problem, I'm not hangry anyways... (red: I am getting exceptionally hangry).
My, how time flies....

Unfortunately not. I'm just going to head out as quickly as I can get some of this stuff finished (hopefully next 20-ish minutes). It's so difficult when there is so much good food around me too! haha

Start carrying nuts or something with you in case of such emergencies!  :)

I have to admit I almost never leave the house without a meals worth of snacks. Hangry usually mutates to dizzy rather quickly!

I'm the same!  :) Some days I reckon I could survive for a couple of weeks if I had to on what I've got with me!  ;D

I normally bring snacks but I was off to a bad start this morning and was a bit frazzled so just left without my normal snacks with me. I am much more content now :) I've had dinner AND a scone.

For this afternoon's IA (aka well and truly a first world problem), we're trying to sort out some stuff for our trip to Japan....It's so overwhelming....We just hit a point where we are stuck with what the best next move is. We've got shedloads of places to see/things to do/food to eat/etc. but now we are trying to figure out how many days to split between Tokyo and Kyoto/Osaka area and try to book accommodation and we then get stuck arguing over the best way to approach this phase of planning...

I’d ask Historienne.  She used to live there.

My face is halfway back to normal.  Driving up steep mountain hills today was precarious with only one good eye. Lol

But we saw some absolutely stunning landscapes since we didn't stick to tourist spots and went off the beaten path.

Ok... Santa Cruz is a tourist spot and absolutely mental to find parking. But the rest of our stops weren't.
