I knew we were responsible for the hedges and lawn mowing and keeping it generally tidy, I didn't realise it included trimming back trees and bushes when I have no knowledge of how to do such things!
I'm only doing the bushes we have in the yard and it's a pain. I haven't done it really since last year...

Our neighbors have plants/trees growing into our yard and that's not my problem.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

Yes indeedy! Just waiting for our terminal. Had breakfast at wagamama. Who would’ve thought they did breakfast?! Clearly not many people as it was quiet compared to the chaos of the other places, which was great!

I thought of you this morning as I was plowing through the rain to get to work.  I remember your original post about this trip and how pissed you were as "it's the one weekend we are guaranteed good weather."  The Weather Gods heard you and are making sure it's miserable here.  ;)

My birthday was Monday and "my kids" got me a gift.  A Love Island waterbottle, which has my name on it.  It made me laugh and has provided lots of entertainment for my colleagues at work.

But damn - this is ANOTHER gift that my husband has purchased that has my name on it.  I made him pinky swear last night that this year's anniversary gift will not have my name on it!  This will be the first time in 6 years if he follows through.   [smiley=juggle.gif]

Does that mean your citizenship umbrella has your name on it?  Or just that all of your anniversary gifts have had it?
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)
