Does that mean your citizenship umbrella has your name on it?  Or just that all of your anniversary gifts have had it?

I don't know, I've never opened it up.   ::)

But every single anniversary gift has been "personalised".

While I sides with KF, my husband (the Brit) totalllyyyy thought the idea of the umbrella (because of rain) was genius and funny haha

You should open it and see if a bunch of raindrops with your name engraved on them fall out and dangle underneath.

(I know it won't, but now I really want that to happen!)

Diamonds people.  DIAMONDS are appropriate for a gift for naturalisation.

Or what I bought myself.  A red patent leather Tiffany  passport wallet.   ;D

They just all have them on Love Island.  They walk around all day with their little named water bottles.  Nothing more exciting than that.

Kind of like how everyone on Survivor has a torch.

You have to remember that he didn't have a gift for me when I naturalised because "he was sorting it".  And it took 2 months.  TO GET AN UMBRELLA.  So, yeah, I was a bit eye-rolley.

I love the idea of the passport wallet!  Is it as snazzy as it sounds?

I think it is.  I'll post a photo when I'm home.

Yeah, I can totally see, if you were hoping for diamonds and you ended up with an umbrella, that maybe it doesn't seem as clever/funny!  ;)

I mean...   I knew I wouldn't get diamonds.  But I did think it was going to be something worth waiting for.  ;)

I didn't even know you could get an umbrella engraved with your name.  Must have taken him forever to arrange
