EEK that's a trek (though I do think they have a Taco Bell?). Are you staying there overnight? I have to go to Birmingham tomorrow. UGH. Not looking forward to the drive.

Taco Bell in the Arndale Centre... good call, KoD!
(although there is another Mexican place in the Arndale that's even better than Taco Bell, it doesn't have that nostalgia-thing.)

I have found out there is a Taco Bell very near by!  Not going to happen today due to time constraints.  But I've already made it known that next time, it's happening.  ;D  I'll be up here every-other-month.  WOOHOOOO!!!!!!

Don't knock it!  :D The year we moved from Glasgow to Helensburgh, we moved on the 20th of December, and I had no energy or inclination to shop for and cook a roast Christmas dinner.  So we went to Masala Twist, where they'd laid on a really lush festive menu full of gorgeous, 'not-your-standard-curry' Indian dishes.  It was delicious, and the place was nearly full, so we weren't the only nutters who went for a Christmas curry!

I've been meaning to try that place. The Daughter says it's really good. Never had curry before coming to Glasgow. It's addictive, I gotta say!

Having Indian food in North Carolina required traveling 45 minutes to another town and making reservations. I never had it until I moved here.

Curry is the national food of the UK.

As a musician, I'm starting rehearsals with Christmas music this week because it's actually not much time now to get music ready for early December.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
