Wearing a freshly laundered shirt today.  And it smells.  Like a weird slightly pungent smell like it sat in the machine too long.  Which it didn't.

I think I know what it is.  I used that Dettol wash that you put in the fabric softener tray in the wash.  And it's just not a nice smell.  Bleh.

I have two shirts on... because - layers.  I'm tempted to go into the bathroom and remove the offending shirt.  I suspect I will before long...

It was worth it. I made chicken pie.  And it was so good.

Not really an IA, but not sure where to put it without starting a new thread. In the last 3 weeks 2 uncles died (one by marriage, one was a great uncle but in my life more than my own father). And now one of my closest friends back home is in the hospital because of a serious cardiac issue, waiting for tests to determine the prognosis. I'm really missing home. :(

My IA is that I had to come home from holiday :(

Also, I have SO many threads to catch up on. I might take the scorched earth approach to the UKY threads and just forget all the historics and start over new LOL

Sorry you've had to deal with all this, especially in such a small window of time :(
