When I got on the Red Line car last night I thought -- lovely, a vacant seat. Turns out it was within aroma distance of a homeless person. It was so bad I thought I was going to be sick  [smiley=bleck.gif] Got off at the next stop and moved to another car.

Hugs to you and your child NoseOverTail!  Been there, done that with the 9 year old.

Thanks! It will all be over March 25th, and we're working on the toughest section just now, which is due a week from Friday.  So, it should smoother sailing after this bit...hopefully. ;)

I decided to carry an umbrella today (which is unusual) and it broke the minute I walked out the door. Awesome.

One sick kid. One kid who dropped his pacifier at 5am and cried for me to get it. Been awake since then stressing about jobs, life, etc.

On top of that, I have a ton of work to do for my class and a court date to prepare for tomorrow.

I need a vacation.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

You are not alone! I have one person in my town that I can actually call a real friend. I have tried meeting new people but it's a small community and is VERY clicky. If you don't have kids (and I don't) you just don't belong. in fact, I've actually lost friends here when they got pregnant and had a baby. Weird! I can't find any American meet up in my area either!  :(

Horrible fatigue - in the form of muscle pain from my lower back down to my toes and numbness in my feet. I texted work and explained and said I'd be late. It's all b/c I'm used to having DH here to pick up the slack when I'm not feeling 100%. :(
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

Getting awoken by DH at 1 AM because he wanted to show me something online that could have waited until this morning.  Then getting awoken at 5:30 while he tried to get ready for work "quietly".  Now I feel wiped out and have no energy to do the 100000 things I need to do today. :(

Today I decided it's finally light enough in the mornings to squeeze in a quick pre-work midweek run. So I had a great jaunt round the river at daybreak, putting down 6+ km in amoungst all the other joggers out this morning. I got back just in time for my recurring alarm to go off and start my morning routine, but my usual walk in to work this morning (another 3km) made my legs feel like lead! It's barely 10am and I'm shattered!

(I know getting at least one midweek run in will make my longer weekend runs so much easier in the long term, but I just have to push through the first few weeks...)

Two women from the mormons, 7th day adventists, or something like that just came to my door.  I saw the leaflet right away proclaiming "THE TRUTH" in caps.  I said, "I'm sorry, I have a religion, and it's different than that one."  They left disgruntled and disappointed.  Sorry people, but RESPECT and TOLERANCE is what should be in caps!  I don't come buzzing your doorbell at 10:30 in the morning on your day off trying to tell you my religion / spiritual path is the one and only true one.  >:(  [smiley=bomb.gif]  Truly one of my biggest pet peeves.

Edited to add:  Wouldn't it be funny to get a bunch of people of all different religions and go buzzing on their doors inundating them with leaflets on Judaism, Hinduism, being Moslem, Wiccan (ha ha ha!!!), Catholicism, Atheism, and every other religion / non religion / spritual path you can find a representative for!

Add me to the pile of hopeless and friendless.

After attending a parent-toddler playgroup for the better part of 5 months and still not being able to break into any of the cliques, I finally get up enough nerve to talk to a newbie this morning. Halfway through the session she disappeared into the loo and didn't come back.  :\\\'(

Oh and a nearby preschool that I was hoping to get DS into in September just let me know that his is now #37 on the waitlist. Holy schmokes. At this rate, this child is not going anywhere before reception.
