hiya from ohio living in surrey

hiya everyone

ive just found this site and joined im originally from akron/canton ohio and been here now 8 yrs im married to a wonderful man who i met in a internet chatroom and we got married in 2002 we been married now 8 yrs. i have 2 cats. im also looking to meet some americans who live close by as there arent many who live in surrey that ive come across i really miss the interaction of having friends here as the ones i had here close to me have gone back to the states. well enough said im so glad ive found this site

I'm afraid I don't live close by, though. I'm in Hertfordshire, but I do work in Central London. I know there are a few people from Surrey lurking around here - hopefully they show up!

I actually know a couple who live in Winchester, but I dont think they are active on this site any longer. 

Cool. How did you meet them? Through this site? It is just difficult to even locate people on here but it is a starting point. I'm hoping another American/British couple that doesn't really know anyone will see my posts.  It would be so nice to relate to other people in the area going through the same experiences.
