Grew up watching Benny Hill, Dave Allen, and all things Monty Python on PBS in the states and love the dry humor.
I don't watch much TV as it is, but I'm addicted to Top Gear. We get an 'Americanized' version on BBCA, but I don't know how much, if any, different it is than what's aired in the UK. A new U.S. version started up in November, but the transition wasn't planned well and the hosts don't have near the rapport as the original UK hosts (IMHO). When referring to 'The Stig' in the first episode, the US show did not give any background on the concept of 'the Stig' at all. Any viewer that hasn't seen the original show would probably feel very lost watching the U.S. version. Most of us who adore the original didn't watch more than the initial US episode.
Oh yes, I am a motorsport/auto enthusiast, if it wasn't obvious
