My secret santa got me The Element Encyclopedia of Magical Creatures. It's something I would never think of buying, but looks fascinating. (And, if I end up doing NaNo again, will probably come in handy!)

Yes, it was me. I wasn't sure how we were supposed to reveal (since it was suggested we don't put our info on the package!) I hope you enjoy the cookbook! With all the snow and cold there this winter, I thought it'd be quite fitting.

It's perfect, thanks! Lots of one pot meals in there, which is all I feel like cooking at the moment.

Still waiting a lot of my other US stuff ordered very close, or in one case after xmas has now come through so quite worried about it now. Is there a tracking number or anything?

DH ordered things for me on 14 December that still haven't arrived!

It's a bank holiday in Scotland so n'un got nuthin' fer Crismis t'day.

Mine came today! Well ... the first half of it came, according to the card. That's very intriguing! It was a gorgeous bar of lavender soap. Absolutely lovely! And I also loved the festive drawings on the envelope! Well done, NoseOverTail! Thank you!
