Organization of Fiancee Visa Paperwork

Ok...Finally there just waiting on Fiancee's posted paperwork!!!! Now...I started putting everything into plastic sleeves and a binder - but I thought i read NOT to do this? Should I include table of contents? Do I organize by subject like "His Finances", "Her Finances"... Is there an order they will prefer the information? I assuming it would follow in the order of the application questions and requests for submission. Please advise cause Y'all are simply the best!

No plastic sleeves, no binders -- they just add weight & shipping costs & you probably won't get them back any way. Invest in a huge binder clip and post it flags to lable each section & call it good.

There is no preferred way to organize. Just make sure your biometrics & application are on top and if you're using the Settlement Priority Service put the receipt on top of everything else.

No Binders?  Oops.  I have a cheap-o binder and cheap folders.  My fiance and I have too much stuff to fit in a binder clip!     I don't care about getting the binder or folders back though.

Settlement Priority Service Receipt (if you chose to use the service)


Then depending on the situation a couple of other items come into play but those are the basics for those with no kids, no previous marriages, not living with anyone else or needing 3rd party support.

Also Binder clips come in 2" capacity (the largest I've seen) so if you've filled that you need to look at what you're sending as it's probably not necessary.

At a minimum you would need a date and some sort of proof that you've contact the proper authorities (Registry Office) in order to give the proper notice. Sometimes just an email that you sent to the Registry Office saying that you want to get married on a certian day and are inquiring about the process with their response to you will suffice...However, I've you've booked any venues, paid any deposits, just include the proof.

No, because you're not applying for a UK marriage visa (the marriage visa is the fiance visa that costs $1200 and is for people marrying UK citizens).

You will be applying for a 'marriage visitor' visa (completely different type of visa to the one being talked about on this thread) and the requirements you need to meet/documents you need are listed on these pages:
