Sounds like you're better off with this other surgery.  I wonder did the guy at the first place give you so much hassle based on the way you look or was he just a jerk in general?

Yeah, it is very weird that when you phoned originally they said they were taking new patients but then went back on this once you went in. I'd consider making a formal complaint against the surgery just so someone higher up is aware that the surgery is doing this. Glad you found someplace that can see you right away--sounds like you're much better off with them!

they have a sign outside their office that they are accepting new patients........i hate to think this but i feel like its a personal thing......im very heavily tattooed and pierced.......which shouldnt make a difference but i feel it did.......he is the office manager and said to tell me that he hadnt made a decision yet and would call when he did.........the ladies there are very nice but he is just a jerk to me........i no longer want to go there anymore........the only thing this place ask me for was my passport.........this new place ask me to bring all sorts of stuff with me etc.....way more professional........so im glad im going elsewhere.......in the end it will be for the best im sure............now to find a vet!..........hope that isnt so difficult

UPDATE: went to register with a new doctor.....they were so nice to me.....gave me an appt right away......so things happen for a reason i suppose......smile upon my face
