Chocolates. Can I bring some in?
« on: January 24, 2011, 09:56:00 AM »
My sister-in-law is in love with American Hershey's chocolate. She's asked me to bring some so she can steal it from me :P I did it last time, (bringing 2 bars of Hersheys in) and I got in OK. I just want to know if i can bring other stuff in, such as Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and some Kisses, a Candy Cane, Opened bag of Reeses Pieces, bar of Cadbury's from the US, (want to see if there is a difference in the taste :P)

Anyone know if i'd have to pay like a tax or something on it??

Please Halp! :))

Yes, you can bring them in, no need to even mention it either.

You'll have no problems at all. But I just wanted to say that Reese's PB Cups are sold all over the place here now.

Just an addendum to this, the big ones are, but I haven't found the smaller ones (which I prefer, better peanut butter to chocolate ratio).

Chary, let me know though if the smaller ones are around.

Not only have I not seen the small ones, but I actually forgot they existed until you just mentioned them! LOL! I actually prefer the ratio of choc:PB on the bigger ones.

I've seen Reese's pieces once or twice but no Reese's PB cups in my neighborhood.   :(  Mmmm...  sounds delicious right now.  I'm with you Persephone, I like the little bite-sized ones in their little gold wrappers.   :)

Our Morrisons carried Reeses peanut butter cups for a little while a year or more ago, then not anymore.  Haven't seen them in other grocery stores, but haven't been looking either.

I can usually get them at a sweets shop down the street, or in our deli though.

The big ones, not the little ones.  I do like the little ones!  (and the big ones)

Morrisons does usually have the Nutrageous though - is it good?  I've never tried one.
