GlobalWebPay, anyone have any experience of them?
« on: January 24, 2011, 11:43:14 AM »
Hi

I've been looking into the best ways to send money back home to family/friends.

Checking out newcomer link: http://www.fxcompared.com/Content/money-transfer-from-UK-USA-below-3000-amount-500 [nonactive] GlobalWebPay ( newcomer link: http://www.globalwebpay.com [nonactive] ) seem to have the best rates back to USA.

Have any of you guys used them before? Any good? I think i'll try and small test payment first.

Thanks

Check out  www.xe.com.  There rates are much closer to being market rates and they may not charge any fee to transfer between the UK and the US.

I've been looking into the best ways to send money back home to family/friends.

I also use XE.com, and have been very happy with them.

As an aside, it looks suspicious that you've joined the forum today, and your first post is a link to a money exchange service.  If you're really interested in joining the UK-Yankee community, you ought to post a greeting in the welcome wagon section.
