I took the FEIE up to 2004. For the 2005 I revoked it and took the foreign tax credit instead (actually did so with an amended return filed at the same time as our 2006 return). So I have not taken the FEIE exclusion for 5 year's of returns (2005-9 inclusive). It looks like for 2010 we'd be better off taking the exclusion again, and I figured we'd be able to yet TurboTax seems to think I can't until next year (at least not without special permission). Does that seem right to anyone else?
