IN GENERAL  SAVE  BUT If  a child is doing a fundraiser  it is usually my go to items  since  I always  'need' them  eventually

These days save, since my phone is always on me. When I had a job where I couldn't have my phone on me I wore a watch.

Splurge and save.  Hubby will wash his car himself when we stay at his mum's and will splurge otherwise (maybe because we don't have a driveway so washing the car in the street it awkward).  But here in rain central the car rarely needs a wash at all.

Definitely splurge, but we currently live in GA and have a pool in our neighborhood.  Also two of our number are super WHITE [hubby is a Ginger, and one kid is toe-headed with his skin]. And I get a high quality brands that are made with large particle metals that don't soak in, but stay on top and block.  Worth it to me because we have to use it on them, but I don't want them getting cancer from the run of the mill stuff.  I personally do not use sunblock except on my face, but my chances of melanoma, being Native American, are very slim. I don't even burn.

Regular Spa day? [if you could afford it. Korean spa nearby is $25 for 24 hours]

lol Toe-headed means the child has very blonde/white blonde hair.  Usually comes hand in hand with pale skin.  They are usually as pale as, if not paler than, their red-headed kin. And I have no idea where the word came from, just that it is commonly used here in the South East and in other parts of the US.

Ugh!  That's a yukky word! (or maybe it's just because I have foot phobia!  ;) )

:::::::::::::::::::
Just googled it... the spelling is actually 'tow' head, not 'toe'.  Apparently 'tow' is some sort of pale straw-coloured flax.  Another thing I'd never heard of!

Now that I have butted into the thread, I guess I'd better play the game...

Regular spa day?  I have never been to a spa in my life, and presumably never will, so definitely save!

Who's next: Bread?

Err, yeah, toe head is a shuddery sort of word!
Towhead, on the other hand, not really   ;D

Now that I have also butted in, I shall play the game!

Splurge on bread if it is for the "grown ups" well for me, haha  ;) , but if it is for PB & J for the kids, when a whole loaf can almost disappear at lunchtime, then no, it is a definitely a save, then it is just plain old white or wheat for them.  ::)

Save at the moment. A friend made a bunch last summer, from plain fruit up to fruits with hot peppers, to hot pepper only, so we have quite a variety at the moment, all the way up to ghost pepper jelly.

Save and Splurge.. Save when my daughter and I make some fun and unique pictures, which I love to hang on the walls. Splurge if I see something I'm really in love with and can't live without.

Save.  I just find recipes on the internet and write down or print out those that I'm likely to make again and again.  Big expensive cookbooks just add clutter and make me feel guilty that I'm not cooking amazing meals from them on a day to day basis.

Bit of both. Depending which country we are in, we either stay with his mum and dad or my mom when visiting the other country, which saves quite a bit in hotel expenses. We still have adventures though. Come September, we will stay with his parents, minus the 5 nights we are in London and the night we are in Manchester. London with be a bit expensive, because we plan to be a bit touristy, and also hit a bunch of pubs.

Save. I can work on an older vehicle myself and it ends up saving more than just the massive amount of depreciation and interest you pay on a new car. Something reliable that I can fix myself is better value for us.  Now when the kids move out, all bets are off, lol.
