Welcome, ILMT-
I heard there is a Chipotle in London.  True, Londoners?  I would be much more likely to make a Chipotle pilgrimage than a Taco Bell one :)

Heidi

Yes and it was fabulous!
There is a slightly dirty, forbidden pull to Taco Bell.
agreed!

Really? And the hubby acts like this is so gross and low class.  ::)  I'll remind him of that next time he wants McD's after a night of drinking! ;D

i think its mostly a phase. most of us in our early 20's and/or college probably lived off of the food there. you never look back. lol.

True. And that's why I refuse to eat ramen! Or peanut butter sandwiches. No thank you.

I personally skeeve all fast food except for Subway and Taco Bell. Subway bc it's healthy enough for something quick and they have nutrition info available is ok for me. I prefer small shops to chains. Taco Bell? Well, it's delicious but I'm not even trying to kid myself here. Back home I would eat it almost every week. Usually in my car sad to say. It's been four years since I last had bc they don't have in Japan or Thailand. I crave it.

McD's =   :-X (Always has for me, ymv)

I left my early 20's a while ago btw.  ;)

We met in Tokyo through friends when we both lived in Japan.

Last year we moved to Thailand, got our first apartment together, got jobs with the same employer (!), didn't end up killing each other, got married, and decided to move to the UK to settle down.

London, here we come!

Oh goodness my brother is in Tokyo!! He's doing some sort of exchange student thing there and he just loves it but he did mention that he gets stared at a lot for being so tall and that it's hard to find Mexican food.

There was an amazing place in Omotesando/Harajuku next to the Turkish embassy. Forgot the name, you go down stairs and there's a mariachi band. Highly recommend the Chicken Mole Poblano there. *Drool*

If he's blond and blue eyed they probably stare at him thinking he's cute.  ;)

Yeah he takes after our Mum, tall with goldie locks and big green eyes. It does make me slightly nauseous to think of any girl thinking he's cute though  ;) But I'll be sure to tell him, I doubt he knows where the Turkish embassy is since he has zero sense of direction but I'm sure he'll find it eventually.
