I always stocked up on Peeps and other treats on visits home, or from care packages family sent. At the moment I have one pack of Peeps left for Easter, and then I am going to be a big girl about it until we land in the States in June.

twizzlers are always in our house but peeps are like that SPECIAL treat!

I'm a Peeps junkie, a bad habit I get from dad. We both like them 'stale', so we'll open a pack and let it sit for a week before eating them.

Dh & I both love strawberry Twizzlers so that's usually the only thing I share with Dh when we come back from the States with a buttload of American candy Dh doesn't like most of the stuff I bring back with us. ;)  :)

Just a note that the Cybercandy in Boxpark (Shoreditch) has a huge display of Peeps and other easter stuff right now. I picked up a Reese's peanut butter egg just now. :)

They really are a love 'em or hate 'em food, with no middle ground. I've never met anyone who 'sort of' likes them. It is a definite love or hate thing. Still, if you don't like them, that means more for me!  ;D

I sort of agree with that in that I would never willingly eat a Peep. But they don't make me  [smiley=bleck.gif] as much as I just find them completely flavourless. Isn't it just sugar?? What's the point??

They're just sugar-coated marshmallow, aren't they?  (Can't remember exactly, as I won't have had one since I was a kid.)

Yes. I love Peeps as do many of my friends in Scotland. Bwah ha ha ha.

However, they do make flavoured ones now.  I like the chocolate mint.

They are sugar coated marshmallow, but they also come in flavours now. Some of them are strawberry creme, caramel dip, milk chocolate dipped, dark chocolate dipped, peppermint, and chocolate mousse.
